Discussion

After a warm frontal passage on Sunday, the warmest air of the season so far will push into the area and afternoon temperatures today should reach the middle 80’s. A backdoor cool front approaches the area tonight and hangs around on Tuesday and there can be an isolated shower or two from tonight into mid-day on Tuesday. Showers and thunderstorms are more likely later tomorrow and tomorrow night as an upper-level trough approaches from our west and the threat of rain can linger into mid-week.
